Classroom Rules
- Arrive to class on time.
- Bring all required materials.
- Raise your hand to ask or answer questions
- Electronic devices and earbuds should be stored away until requested to take them out.
- Respect yourself and others.
Class Preparation and Organization
- Three ring 1 ½ inch binder with five (5) dividers labeled in this order:
- Root Words
- Vocabulary
- Grammar
- Reading
- Writing
- Binders will be graded for contents and organization once a marking period
- Personal reading book for Forty-Book Challenge
- Pencils, red pen, erasers, highlighters, Post-it notes
- Agenda Book - for homework and hallway pass
- Charged laptop
- Earbuds

Late Policy
- If answers to assignment have been given in class, late work WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
- Half credit will be given for all other late work if turned in the following day only.
- On due dates, printing must be done before arriving to class or it is considered late.
Attendance
- Absent students should use their laptop to visit teacher websites and Google Classroom from home on days that they are absent.
- Students should also check Power School to determine graded assignments that were missed.
- For each day you are absent, you have two days to make up assignments.
